Biography

As Managing Partner, Michael G ("MG") handles all daily operations vital to achieving superior value and service. Among his responsibilities, MG oversees the management of search consultants and researchers, client satisfaction and business development. With over 10 years of professional experience in the corporate world, his range of expertise includes real estate, legal services and technology.

Earlier in his professional career, MG served major clients, including global investment banks and entertainment firms, having designed and managed his own successful technical consulting group in wireless communications from the ground up to provide custom business solutions to his expanding client pool.

From the technology sector, MG entered the legal field of corporate reorganization, compliance and class-action securities litigation. In his role of managing litigation settlements, MG headed a team responsible for funds in excess of $3.5 billion. Working together with numerous litigation attorneys and broker-dealers, MG spearheaded innovative programs to streamline and coordinate the various factors involved.

MG later joined global commercial real estate leader, CB Richard Ellis. As a trusted advisor, MG represented clients at all levels from local firms to Fortune 500 corporations. His background in innovation and technology, management, legal matters and sales made him a natural in one of the largest and most competitive commercial real estate markets in the world. As a native speaker of the Cantonese and Mandarin dialects of Chinese, MG's combination of talent, experience and native proficiencies catapulted him into the Greater China Desk, a formidable arm of CBRE’s emerging market strategy.

Michael G Lee is a lifelong New Yorker and a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. He is also a graduate of Stuyvesant High School of New York City and holds board member positions with the Cornell Asian Alumni Association (CAAA) and the Organization of Chinese-Americans (OCA)-Long Island Chapter. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and holds a New York State Real Estate License.
