Biography

Prior to coming on board with GRN, Scott had spent 9 years in the automotive industry, most recently as a Sales & Engineering Manager for Illinois Tool Works. In this role he was responsible for new product development, business development, and personally working with valued OEM & Tier customers to ensure the success of their projects. Previous to this, he spent 6 years working his way from Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D positions to Sales Engineer and finally to Account Manager for Verstand Engineering and then Hutchinson Fluid Transfer Systems. Elevating to management roles from engineering functions gave Scott a solid foundation and added value for his clients because of his dynamic history. In addition to his career in the automotive industry, Scott has owned and operated a Concerto Networks franchise since March 2006 that specializes in Information Technology for Small & Medium sized businesses. Helping clients grow their business as a measure of success, understanding their needs and challenges in order to present solutions is part of Scott’s strong background. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (formerly GMI) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Oakland University.
