Biography

Raja Hitti is the President and Managing Partner of Global Recruiters of Utica, a diverse executive recruiting firm harboring exceptional talent in its own right. Raja has broad and specialized Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Process and Quality Assurance experience at all organizational levels and practiced in various industries, primarily in the regulated Medical Device. His understanding of the building blocks needed to construct any successful company is most aptly reflected in the approach to GRN of Utica, whereby all requisite skill sets are mirrored in complimentary desk specialties ready to serve our client’s complete needs.

Raja’s variegated technical and operational prowess emanate from over 24 years of top tier multi-leveled experience through Senior Management with industry leaders including Tyco, ConMed, Procter & Gamble, Siemens and Johnson & Johnson. He has also spearheaded or significantly contributed to a number of startup companies spanning an electronic Contract Manufacturing firm, a Medical Device company acquisition and subsequent Management, and an Engineering, Integration and Manufacturing enterprise serving the Telecom and Fortune 50 client companies.

Business Excellence background includes the spearheading and establishing of Six Sigma processes (certified ‘Black Belt’), rolled out Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Flow Manufacturing initiatives, re-invented and applied Concurrent Engineering techniques to accelerate New Product Development, and others. He is also the inventor and author of many unique processes for Manufacturing and assembly, and has led large multi-disciplinary technical and production organizations for North America, Mexico and Europe.

Raja has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in mathematics (Graduating Magna Cum-Laude), a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University, and continues with his education by progressing half way through his Masters of Business Administration from the State University of NY (4.0 GPA). He is fluent in Arabic, French and English, and has completed many self-improvement courses.
