Biography

John Shawger has a degree from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in entrepreneurship which served him well in over 17 years of progressive advancement with the same company. His experience comes from the ground up with a consumer goods manufacturer and distributor, specifically home fashions, culminating in the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

With significant oversight of sales, marketing and product development, he created the vision and goals to achieve sales growth from 48 million to over 100 million working directly with such retailers as Wal-Mart, K-mart, Target, Kohl’s and Costco.

John has additional experience leading customer service, creating production planning systems and has served on corporate steering comittees and regularly particpated in annual strategic planning.

More recently John has worked as a consultant to the industry including extensive sourcing in Asia as well as marketing and product development activities culminating in the creation of more than a 1000 items to market to US retailers.

With over 20 years total experience in the corporate world, John decided it was time to put his knowledge to use helping others fulfill their dreams matching exceptional candidates with exceptional companies.
